Hello Everyone!

I’m Yuri Ando and I’m a Health Science Studies major on the Pre-Dental track. I spent most of my life in North Texas but have lived in Japan when I was younger, and have attended some college in South Korea. I love culture and language and continue to have a heart of learning about other cultures. I can’t wait to share stories and share meals together (I love food too)! With that being said I personally know that being a new international student can be scary, but I hope that we can make you all feel welcomed! Sic’em Bears!

Hi everyone! My name is Josefina Echeverria and I'm a sophomore International Studies and Economics major with a French minor. I was born and raised in Santiago, Chile, but completed my primary and secondard education in a small suburb outside of Philadelphia. I've always had a fascination for cultures and languages, and although I can only speak English, Spanish, and French fluenty, I hope to learn more in the future! I love exploring new places, cooking, listening to new music, and grabbing a cup of coffee with friends. I can't wait to meet you and spend time getting to know you during your journey as a Baylor bear!

I really wish to help you build unforgettable memories during the college years. Therefore, if you have problems with college life, just let me know, I will do my best to help you! Unfortunately, I won't be able to get back to the US for the upcoming semester because of COVID-19. I will communicate with you online all time. I know the first year at college is always challenging, especially during this hard time. Keep up, I believe you will be proud of your achievements today!"
