Coronavirus Information for GGP

Baylor University and Study Group officials are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates and make well-informed decisions intended to ensure the continued health and safety of our community.

GGP students and students' parents are encouraged to stay updated through this website. GGP staff will also update students through email communication.

Students should be sure to update their SSM with the most up-to-date location and contact information.

Three important announcements regarding Pass/Fail policy for GGP classes, and the Summer/Fall plans for GGP classes:

Pass/Fail Policy
  • GGP students may have seen the communication about having a “Pass/Fail Option” this semester.  While this option will apply to your Baylor courses, the pass/fail option will not be available for GGP courses.  GGP students must achieve a 2.75 GPA to progress through the program, so it is important to have actual grades for GGP classes.  If a student has extenuating circumstances due to COVID-19, the GGP staff will consider those on a case-by-case basis.
Summer/Fall GGP Classes
  • Summer 2020:  Full GGP program offered online only.
  • Fall 2020:  Full GGP program offered both online and face-to-face.

More details about the summer and fall will be made available in a future message.

For Faculty:
For Students:

Student Success Managers (SSMs) will continue to offer support to all GGP students.

  • All support will be provided digitally by email, phone, and video formats.

  • Students on academic probation or at risk of not meeting the academic requirements for the program are required to meet digitally with their SSM for midterm progress review and with their ISAS for continued academic support.

  • The SSMs are here to help GGP students succeed during this unusual transition to online learning.

The ISAS office is still here for you to use online!
Mrs. McKinney and Ms. Wainscott will still be available for you through a couple of different ways. So, please let us know if you need some help (using these new online tools; new assignments or instructions; etc.)!

  • You can send us emails ( or  with any questions or problems about your classes.
  • You can use WebEx, which is a program to do online video calls and meetings. Many of your teachers will be using this program for interacting with students.
  • You can send us an email to set up a video call if it’s not during our availability hours.
