Tezra Jackson is a full-time lecturer in the Global Gateway Program at Baylor University.
Ms. Jackson is a South Louisiana native who has a Master of Arts degree in Education: TESOL (Pepperdine University) as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English (University of Akron). Also a U.S. Army veteran, Tezra has taught, traveled to and worked in many locations worldwide such as Jordan, South Korea, the Dominican Republic, and most recently, Saudi Arabia. During her military service, Tezra collaborated with and formed close bonds with individuals from many different cultures, ethnic groups and socio-economic backgrounds broadening her interest in immigration, human rights’ law as well as supporting and working with international students of all ages.
In her free-time, Tezra enjoys studying finance, immigration/human rights’ law and politics, reading, traveling, fitness, and spending time with family & friends.
