Nate Hutcherson is a student affairs professional with experience serving domestic and international students from around the world. A native of Texas, he has lived in Waco for the past ten years and enjoys participating in Baylor traditions and serving the local community. Previously, he was a Residence Hall Director where he oversaw a building of 150 students and led a team of 12 student staff members. In this position, he developed a pioneering vision of “Life on Purpose,” which centered the programmatic and student support efforts, and the student leadership development within the residential community. His interdisciplinary interests include: educational leadership, organizational development, and research in the area of higher education-church relations; his personal interests include: roasting and brewing coffee, hiking/camping, and singing. Hutcherson is currently a Student Success Manager for Study Group’s International Student Center at Baylor University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education from Baylor University (2013) and a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Baylor (2018).
