Learn about the process to apply for Optional Practical Training, as well as employment considerations and reporting requirements. Attendance at an OPT Workshop is mandatory for all students applying to OPT.
All workshops will begin at 4:30pm and and last until 6:00pm. You must arrive by 4:30pm. If you are late, you will NOT be allowed to enter the workshop. The location of the workshops is Cashion Academic Center Room 102. Students must bring their I-20 with you to the Workshop. Workshops will be held on the following days:

Please note that you are required to attend an OPT workshop during your last semester in order to be eligible to apply for OPT. You may attend a workshop earlier than this time, but only attendance at a workshop in your last semester will count for this requirement. Your request to apply for OPT will NOT be approved until after you have attended a workshop.
Come learn about the H-1B application process from an employee perspective including eligibility requirements, eligible occupations and timing concerns. Permanent Residency will also be discussed.The Workshop will be posted at a later date.
