Application Process
STEP #1: Nomination from your Home Institution
There is a good chance you have already been nominated by your home institution. If you have not been nominated to Baylor University, please have your study abroad office contact:
STEP #2: Complete the Online Application
After you have been nominated by your Home School and accepted into the exchange program, you will need to complete your online GoBaylor application.
Once you have created an account, please use THIS LINK to begin your exchange application.
STEP #3:
To process your DS-2019 (for your J-1 Visa):
Students will recieve directions on how to upload documents online, to process the DS-2019 after they have successfully completed the GoBaylor application.
To obtain housing and to register you for classes, please send:
- Required Health Form
- Housing Questionnaire
- Academic Advisement Form
- Official Transcripts
- TOEFL Score (where required, please see your home university’s study abroad advisor
For the purpose of obtaining an Acceptance Letter and an DS-2019, you must complete the official application, Visa Authorization Form and the Confirmation of Financial Resources Form as soon as possible.
Deadline for Fall and Spring Applicants to submit all documents.
- Fall Term: March 31st
- Spring Term: October 31st
Graduate Exchange Admission:
Graduate exchange student are considered on a case-by-case basis. Students will need to get the instructions from the Baylor Exchange Advisor as the process varies depending on the graduate program.
