The Global Certificate Program will guide our students through

The Global Certificate Program at Baylor University is open to all undergraduate students, in any major, and will incorporate a mixture of curricular and co-curricular requirements. When completing the certificate program, students will rise through three different levels of Global Engagement, from Entry through Exploration and finally to Engagement. Students participating in the program will develop essential skills and knowledge that will better prepare them for leadership and serice in the global society of the 21st century.

In order to earn the certificate, students will accumulate a total of 100 points. Certain activities will be required (Chapel, participation in a reading group, three 3-credit courses selected from a broad list of preapproved courses) as well as participation in one of five engagement activities. All other activities within the program are elective.

The Certificate in Global Engagement was approved by the University Undergraduate Curriculum Committee in Fall 2016 and was launched in Fall 2018. Successful completion of the certificate program will be noted on student transcripts.
