Hey y'all! My name is Neil Chambers and I will be a senior this fall. I'm an Economics and International Business major. I started learning French my first semester at Baylor, and the amazing professors in our French department inspired me to study in Paris this past semester. I've been fortunate enough to live all across the U.S., but I call Virginia home. I love traveling both in the U.S. and overseas and hope to visit Asia, Australia, and South America by the time I'm 25. I love dogs and I have two at home and one that I share with my roommates here in Waco. In my free time I love to go biking, and play basketball and soccer. I am very excited to meet everybody very soon!

Hometown: Singapore, Singapore; Cumbernauld, Scotland; Katy, Texas
The reason I have so many hometowns is simply because I don't solely have one, because I am what is known as a TCK, or a Third Culture Kid. I was born in Cumbernauld, Scotland where all of my family bloodline is from. When I was young I moved around a lot mostly growing up in Asia, including South Korea and Singapore. I am a current Junior Chemistry major, Mathematics minor. A fun fact about me is that I am a huge fan of scuba diving and have participated in dives in 8 different countries.

I am a 3rd year PhD student in the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. I love watching soccer, making friends and travelling to new places. Coming to the U.S. as an international student was exciting and also challenging in terms of adapting to the U.S. culture, but being in the midst of loving people in Baylor, especially people at the Center for Global Engagement Office, made all the difference. I am passionate about helping other international students adapt easily to the U.S. culture.
Hometown: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Hey y'all! My name is Lawson and I'm a junior University Scholar studying Political Science, Spanish, and Creative Writing. I've lived in five US states, Spain, and Guatemala, and I love that I have roots spread far and wide. I have a very large and nontraditional family that includes 7 siblings and two dogs. My favorite thing to do with my family is cook, but I also consider myself a connoisseur of Texan fast food chains. My ideal day in Waco is paddleboarding on the Brazos River with friends while talking politics and listening to some great music. I speak Spanish and I'm going to start learning Portuguese this fall. I'm so excited to meet you all and welcome you into the Baylor family!

Hi friends! Welcome to Baylor! I'm a senior majoring in Public Health. Born and raised in Shanghai, I came to Baylor 3 years ago. I speak Mandarin, English, and a little bit of Japanese. In April, my friends and I had the chance to represent the U.S. for a competition held by Red Bull Company. We traveled through 5 countries and 7 cities in Europe in 7 days without phones, cash or cards but only with our backpacks and the energy drinks as currency. This crazy journey really opens my eyes and makes me want to embrace this world more. Can't wait to meet you guys and hear your awesome stories!

Joining the Baylor family helped me discover the world beyond my hometown; Honduras, Central America. We are a tight knit community that strives to welcome people from all corners of the world. In my case I found my calling in the Nonprofit Marketing career here at Baylor. Baylor helped me design my own path while expressing my faith, culture and passions!

I am a senior Mechanical Engineering major. I went to high school in Elmhurst next to Chicago. So I love Chicago style pizza very much. Personally, I love taking pictures, especially landscape pictures. My favorite spot to take pictures was San Juan, Puerto Rico. I like playing video games, watching movies and trying out new things to eat! My favorite dish in United States is from a restaurant called Crawfish and Noodles in Houston. If you watched “Ugly Delicious” from Netflix, then you will know what I’m talking about. They have their own Viet-Cajun style craw fish which is incredibly delicious! Anyways, welcome to Baylor! Come say hi to me and maybe we can grab some craw fish together.
