1845 Society Impact Report 2020
Baylor is blessed to have alumni, parents, faculty, friends, staff and students who give to create a bright future. The 1845 Society seeks to honor and celebrate donors who give to advance Baylor's mission.
Each gift — whether to support teaching and research, to fund scholarships, to bridge the gap during a pandemic or to foster a Christian environment on campus — combines with other gifts from the Baylor Family to create incredible opportunities for our students while illuminating the path forward for this storied institution.
As of the end of 2020, here are a few highlights of the Give Light campaign:
- $912.7 million has been given.
- 72,256 donors made a gift since the campaign's launch. In 2020 alone, more than 23,000 donors made a gift to Baylor.
- 29,986 gifts have been made to Baylor under $1,000.
- More than $1.5 million has been awarded to students in need through the President's Excellence Fund.
Within this report, you will see how gifts of all sizes from the Baylor Family are making a difference: opening doors to Baylor for students, enhancing their academic experiences and creating opportunities for academic discovery among faculty.
