1845 Society

Baylor University was founded in 1845 by a collection of churches and Christian leaders. The faithful support of Baylor’s alumni, parents and friends has sustained and grown the university from its small origins in Independence, Texas, to the respected and internationally-renowned institution we have today.

1845 Society honors that faithful giving to priorities and programs across campus that enrich the Baylor experience and advance academic and athletic excellence.

Annual Honorees

Alumni, parents and friends who give financially during the year to support any area of campus are recognized as annual honorees of 1845 Society.

Each year, 1845 Society also celebrates when donors’ giving reaches the following milestones: $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000.
