1845 Scholars

description

A new way to come alongside Baylor University's students.

Baylor University is blessed to have high-achieving, passionate students who are driven to make a difference in this world through the professions God has called them to pursue. As we continue to look for ways to support our students, Baylor has created the 1845 Scholars program to provide another way our Baylor Family can come alongside our students through scholarship support.

This new scholarship program provides one-year, need-based $3,000 scholarships to students. A one-time gift of $3,000 will fully fund a scholarship for one student within any academic unit at Baylor. Make a transformational difference in a students life by helping them become an 1845 Scholar!

As a supporter of the program, you will be invited to meet and greet events at Baylor throughout the year, where our recipients will have the opportunity to meet their Scholars patrons.

Be part of the 1845 Scholars Program!

Become an 1845 Scholars Patron! A one-time gift of $3,000, or a one-year pledge of $3,000 is all it takes to become a supporter of the 1845 Scholars program. Your gift will result in one $3,000 need-based scholarship that will support one Baylor student for one year. Scholarships can be designated to a preferred academic unit or school at Baylor University.

A gift or pledge of any other amount to the 1845 Scholars program will be combined with other, similar gifts to create additional scholarships for qualified students. All gifts received by May 1, 2019, will be used to fund scholarships during the 2019-2020 academic year. For more information on how you can be part of the 1845 Scholars program, please email GIVEBU@baylor.edu or contact the Office of Annual Giving at 1-855-5-GIVE-BU.

I use the principles I learned in the Professional Selling program as well as the lessons learned through role plays and competitions every single day. The leadership and confidence I have over my team stems from what I learned at Baylor University and in the sales program…
