The Mary Gibbs Jones Family and Consumer Sciences building, built in 1976, is the main home to the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. Originally it was built to serve over 100 students. Today, more than 500 students are enrolled in the six programs located within the department.
The first floor of the building houses offices, classrooms, food science labs, and nutrition labs. The second floor houses offices, classrooms, fabric lab, and the apparel production labs.
