Is there a change in your spouse's employment, a wedding or a new baby in your future? As you anticipate and plan for these life-changing events, don't forget to review and update your benefits! Perhaps you need to change beneficiary information, add or drop a dependent for medical, dental or life insurance coverage. Perhaps your child will be reaching the maximum age (to age 26) for you to maintain their dependent insurance coverage with your plans.

Qualifying life events allow for changes in benefit enrollment outside of the annual enrollment period, and within 30 days of the event. So if a life-changing event is on your calendar, make a note to reevaluate your benefits and ensure that you have proper coverage to accommodate the change in your family.
