In January 2021, Jessica joined Baylor’s Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX Office. Her role is to investigate Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct cases and Civil Rights cases at Baylor University. Jessica conducts neutral investigations regarding complaints alleging sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, sexual exploitation, relationship violence, and harassment or discrimination on the basis of a protected characteristic, as well as collaborates with the Equity Office to assess and ensure the safety of the impacted student and/or community.
Prior to joining the Baylor community, Jessica served as Director of Educational Equity, Title IX, and Section 504 at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. She was also an independent Title IX and Civil Rights investigator. As Director of Educational Equity, Jessica was responsible for overseeing all investigations of alleged violations of the Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Harassment, and Section 504 grievance policies. In this role, she also managed the college’s sexual violence education program and training for campus partners. Jessica earned her Juris Doctor from Pennsylvania State University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Music from Florida Southern College.
