Tracey Tevis

Education and Prevention Specialist

Tracey joined the Equity team in October 2019. Her primary role consists of training students, faculty and staff on Civil Rights and Title IX policies. In addition to providing training on policies, Tracey also provides education on awareness and preventative measures, including but not limited to bystander intervention, healthy relationships, microaggressions and biases. Tracey oversees, the annual "Set the Standard," event for all new incoming students during the fall semester.

Prior to joining Baylor, Tracey worked as an elementary school teacher in both Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky.  Before teaching, Tracey was the Area Coordinator for Leadership Development at Georgetown College, where she also received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and her Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership Reading Specialist.
