Atmospheric Chemistry

Emissions of gas and particle phase compounds can mix, undergo chemical reactions and be transported in the atmosphere.   Baylor students study emission sources, chemical reactions and transport of biogenic and anthropogenic compounds in the atmosphere.  We are interested in atmospheric chemistry on the local, regional and global scale and have projects from Texas to Alaska, from California to Asia.

The Sheesley and Usenko research groups work on atmospheric chemistry questions.
