Diedra Cowley Flora graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in 1979. She received her J.D. from Baylor School of Law in 1980. Ward Flora also graduated from Baylor with a B.B.A. in 1979. He received an M.S. in Economics from Florida State University in 1981. After an entrepreneurial career in telecommunications, Ward is teaching fourth grade at an economically disadvantaged school in Fort Worth, Texas. Diedra is an active mother of two, deeply involved in the local community and school system where son Sam and daughter Margaret attend.
The Floras are increasingly conscious and thankful for the influences of Baylor University in their lives. Because they are sensitive of environmental issues confronting the world, they wish to support those students who seek to invest themselves on behalf of the environment.
