In-Person Tutoring

In-person sessions are the most common form of tutoring that the UWC offers (when we're not in the middle of a pandemic!). These sessions are structured to give you up to 50 minutes of one-on-one time with a consultant at the UWC in Moody Library. The best way to benefit from in-person consultations is to talk with your consultant about what you want to focus on and what your overall goals are for any piece of writing that you’re working on. We encourage you to bring in resources, assignment sheets, research, and ideas so that your consultationwill be as productive as possible. Our consultants can offer feedback and instruction no matter where you are in the writing process, from initial brainstorming all the way to final drafting and revision.

Any student, faculty, or staff member is welcomed to schedule an appointment using our online scheduler (baylor.mywconline.com). Drop-ins are also welcome. For more information on how to schedule your online appointment now, visit our Schedule an Appointment page.
