Bio

William Murray is interested in the relationship between narratives and lived experience. His research focuses on twentieth and twenty-first century American literature, film/TV, and graphic novels. Examples of Will’s work can be found in journals such as American Studies, Mississippi Quarterly, The CEA Critic, Eudora Welty Review, and The South Carolina Review. He is currently working on a book project that explores how post-1960 narratives (from and about the U.S. South) protect narratives of white innocence.
