Bio

Kara Poe Alexander's teaching interests include undergraduate and graduate courses in composition, literacy studies, and digital writing. Her research interests include literacy studies, rhetoric and composition, multimodal composition, and writing center studies.

Kara's work has appeared in College Composition and Communication, College English, Composition Forum, Composition Studies, Computers and Composition, Computers and Composition Online, Journal of Business and Technical Communication, Literacy in Composition Studies, Rhetoric Review, Technical Communication Quarterly, Kairos, Basic Writing eJournal, and several edited collections.

Kara enjoys photography, writing, hiking, watching baseball, going to the farmer's market, traveling (with her husband!), spending time with her daughter and two sons, and watching Baylor athletics. Sic 'em, Bears!
