Mr. Bill Dube

Mr. Bill Dube is the 2011 Diversity Award recipient. His nomination and letters of recommendation describe his efforts, leadership, and the behind- the -scenes things he does privately to support students. One of his supporters stated, "without his caring attitude many students would have gone home because of financial woes" and goes on further to write, "I have also seen him go above and beyond as he stepped forward to assist a student personally to make sure that a goal was met on more than one occasion, which speaks volumes to his true commitment" to the students we serve. Bill Dube helps to ensure that Baylor maintains a diverse student population through his work in University Development, where he finds funds for students from underrepresented groups who need financial assistance, and throughout the campus as a promoter of minority student organizations. Bill Dube really cares about our entire student population beyond his job responsibilities.
