I know a specific person is either a faculty/staff member or a student. Why can't I find him or her in the directory?

There are several potential reasons why you can't locate a specific person. You may have misspelled the name. The individual may have blocked his or her name from public access via the "information release settings." A new student or employee may not show up in the system for up to 72 hours, although it will generally be much quicker. Also, students not currently enrolled in a class at Baylor may not show up in the directory.
