CRASR's fundamental mission to foster interdisciplinary research is comprised of faculty, researchers, and students from the following areas:

Biology Department, offers both Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Ecology with emphasis in Limnology, Aquatic Plants, Wetlands, and Biochemistry.

Department of Environmental Sciences, offers degree emphasis in water and wastewater treatment, as well as, environmental planning.

Geology Department, offers both Undergraduate and Graduate studies emphasizing the physical processes such as surface water, groundwater, and geochemistry.

The Institute of Ecological, Earth, and Environmental Science, is an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program composed of Fellows selected from the Departments of Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Environmental Science, and Geology at Baylor University.

Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, offers research programs in the core areas of chemistry (analytical, inorganic, physical, organic and biochemistry) along with more interdisciplinary programs in chemical biology and biomedical research.

Center for Spatial Research (no specific degrees are offered through the center), specializes in research support which include water resources, wildland fire, aviation applications, remote sensing and energy.

Currently, there are no specific degrees offered through CRASR. However, because of the interdisciplinary nature of the research, students from other academic departments are involved in working with our faculty. Prospective students should contact the faculty in these academic departments that are cooperators in the Center for both academic and research opportunities.
