Career and Professional Development (CPD) assist students and alumni achieve "Success Beyond Baylor" through career exploration, professional development, and employment resources.
CPD encompasses six distinct areas.Each area of our area works together to help Baylor students prepare for the professional world.
Students work with CPD’s Career Advisors to identify potential college majors and careers through self-assessment, goal-setting, and action plans.
CPD prepares students to confidently market themselves and successfully prepare for graduate school or engage employers by utilizing skill-building workshops, mock interviews, premium online services, and campus career fairs.
CPD’s Employer Relations Team recruits and orchestrates the on-campus arrival of top-tier companies to facilitate student interviews and classroom presentations.
Alumni Career Engagement
Baylor alumni of all experience levels obtain insight into career management through personalized consultation and guidance on résumés, job search strategies, and professional branding.
Baylor students who express an interest in seminary or ministry professions meet with our CPD Ministry professionals to explore career options, job opportunities and application processes.
Office of Student Employment
CPD's Office of Student Employment is dedicated to developing meaningful student employment and internship experiences on campus that will prepare each student for their life beyond Baylor.
