Think Pink
As director of communications for Susan G. Komen, the largest nonprofit organization supporting breast cancer research, Emily Winneger Callahan '00 thinks pink--the organization's signature color--on a daily basis. And her efforts to get people to do likewise were rewarded last year with her recognition as PR Professional of the Year, given by PR News.

Callahan has spearheaded numerous media campaigns, including Passionately Pink for the Cure, which raised $3 million in 2006, and she has orchestrated TV segments on the Today Show and the Ellen Degeneres Show. Callahan lives in Dallas and is a Sunday school teacher and youth group assistant at her church.
