The Honors Residential College is home to more than 300 honors students. The male members of the HRC live in Alexander Hall and the female members of the HRC live in Memorial Hall. Residents enjoy traditions, such as high tea, community dinners, hall prayer, and academic programs that allow the formation of the whole person. The HRC staff encourages this formation through the love of neighbor, the love of learning, and the love of God. The HRC is located near Founders Mall.
Types of Rooms
Double Room with a Shared Bathroom
A double room with a shared bathroom includes a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet for each of two residents, as well as a bathroom the residents share.
Double Room with Private Bathroom
A double room/suite with a private bathroom includes a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet for each of two residents, as well as a private bathroom for the two residents.
Triple Room
A triple room includes a bed, desk, chair, and closet for each of the three residents, as well as two dressers to share. Residents share community bathrooms on each wing of the floor.
Triple Room with Shared Bathroom
A triple room/suite with a shared bathroom includes a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet for each of three residents, as well as a bathroom the three residents share.
Double Room
A double room includes a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet for each of the two residents. Residents share community bathrooms on each wing of each floor.
Single Room with a Private Bathroom
A single room with a private bathroom includes a bed, desk, chair, dresser, closet, and private bathroom in a private room for one resident.
Single Room with a Shared Bathroom
A single room with a shared bathroom includes a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet in a private room for one resident, as well as a bathroom the resident shares with a suitemate.
