New Transfer: How to Apply for Housing

  1. Apply to Baylor University.
     
  2. Submit the University Enrollment Deposit through GoBaylor once you have been accepted.
     
  3. Set up your DUO Two-Factor Authentication in order to access the Housing Application.
     
  4. Submit your Housing Application on GoBAYLOR. You can return to the application to make changes using GoBAYLOR or the My Housing link in the main menu above.

    Note: Completing your Housing Application by May 1, allows you to access Roommate Matching.  Students who complete their Housing Application after May 1 will be assigned based on availability by Campus Living & Learning.
     
  5. The Housing Application requires you to select preference either the Transfer-Year Experience Living-Learning Center or Upper Division Communities

    Note: When selecting your preferences, you will not be able to select a specific Upper-Division Community (Brooks Flats, Texana House, University House, or University Parks).
     
  6. Complete the short-answer questions in 2-3 sentences telling us why you would like to live in each of the communities you selected. Responses will be evaluated by the Program Director of the community you selected.

    Note: Approvals will be distributed the first week of May.
     
  7. Complete your Room Type Preferences.  You may add up to 3 preferences denoting the type of apartment you would prefer. 
     
  8. Participate in Roommate Matching in May 2019 (for students who completed the Housing Applications by May 1).
     
  9. Check the status of your application, community approval, or roommate matches anytime through the My Housing link at baylor.edu/CLL.  Housing assignments will be mailed and emailed to students starting the 2nd week of June and continuing throughout the summer.
