Lecturer in Health, Human Performance and Recreation

About Dr. Adeyemi

Dr. Justin Adeyemi joins us as a Lecturer in Health, Human Performance and Recreation from Georgia College. Dr. Adeyemi will focus on teaching our HKLS, HSS, and EP students, but his versatile background will support our entire department. At Georgia College Justin has taught over fifteen different courses--a large number of these courses mirror our own classes in Anatomical Kinesiology, Motor Learning & Development, and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries. His love for active learning and flipped classroom model allows students a considerable amount of time to be “hands-on” during class, as opposed to purely lecture. These approaches help students transfer their learning to clinical, practicum, and or internship opportunities. Dr. Adeyemi is a certified athletic trainer (ATC) and certified health and physical education teacher for grades k-12. In addition to his degrees in educational leadership and Athletic Training, he also has an M.A. in Theology and has even preached at his local church
