Chelsea Perry is a speech-language pathologist with her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and her licensure to practice in the state of Texas. Prior to working at Baylor, Mrs. Perry worked for several years in a hospital system that provided experience in long-term acute care, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation. She has experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations; dysphagia; and an array of communication disorders. Before her work as an SLP, Mrs. Perry taught English in public school and abroad, developing her appreciation for the many facets of language and communication. She views her work in communication sciences and disorders to be both a vocation and an opportunity to serve those affected. Mrs. Perry lives in College Station, TX with her husband Ryan Perry who works for the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. When she is not working, she is enjoying her two kids, experimenting with new recipes, and frequenting bookshops.

 
Academic Interests and Research:

Academic interests include voice pathology and physiologic voice therapy, language-based reading disorders, and dysphagia. Mrs. Perry is also interested in accent management for English language learners.
