Adjunct Professor, Online Program - Speech Language Pathology

Dr. Serpentine is a speech-language pathologist with 20 years of experience in the Pennsylvania public school system.  She specializes in working with children with autism spectrum disorder and complex communication needs.  Dr. Serpentine also enjoys participating in the academic community as an adjunct professor as it provides opportunities to connect with and prepare future speech-language pathologists. She has worked as an adjunct professor for nine years and joined the Baylor online faculty in 2019.

Dr. Serpentine and her husband, Duane, are blessed with three children (and two dogs) and reside in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She is an avid Philadelphia and UConn sports fan, reader, runner, and will happily engage in any conversation about evidence based practice. Dr. Serpentine is actively involved in her faith community, St. Patrick’s Parish, and volunteers on several education and sports boards for St. Patrick’s School.  She also volunteers at Labs 4 Rescue, the organization through which her family has adopted several Labrador Retrievers.
