Rev. Tracie Jernigan lives in the mountains of North Carolina where she serves as Co-Pastor at The Summit Church in Sylva. She grew up in Plano, Texas, received a Bachelors and Master of Music in Church Music from Baylor University (2000, 2003), and a Master of Divinity from Truett Theological Seminary (2003). Her passions include planning creative and art-filled worship, leading worship from the piano, and singing songs about God with her favorite little people, Charlie and Sam. Rev. Jernigan has served on the CCMS board since its inception and also teaches at Yellowstone Theological Institute in Bozeman, Montana, as Seasonal Lecturer in Worship Studies.
