The CASPER High School Scholars Program provides selected local high school students an introduction into research within the Center. Selected scholars are divided into work teams within CASPER's Space Science Lab, Hypervelocity Impacts & Dusty Plasmas Lab, or the Astrophysics and Space Science Theory Group, working alongside CASPSER REU fellows, graduate students and research faculty. Students experience the HIDPL's meso and nanoscale structure formation lab, diagnostics, laser, and accelerator labs and attend seminars with CASPER leadership focusing on current topics in nanoscale physics, plasma physics or space science.
Potential Research Areas Current research opportunities are available within any of the research areas listed for the Center.
Brief descriptions of the currently scheduled research areas available can be found at CASPER Fellows Research Areas page.
