Study strategies:

  • Study alone with no distractions
  • Skim Power Points before class
  • After lecture, compile all notes
  • Do this process every day after class to avoid cramming
  • Notecards help

Favorite study spot:

Study routine:

  • Jog before studying
    • helps to open up the mind
    • relieve stress
  • Eat dinner
  • Light a candle and classical music
  • Divide it up by sections
  • Take a break and eat a snack
  • Study for 3 hours at max
  • Don’t stay up past midnight to study

Morning routine:

  • Wake up around 6:30
  • Have some breakfast
  • Relax in the morning- quiet time
  • Catch up with roommate who is also a student teacher

Studying off-campus:

Overcoming challenge:
