The Undergraduate Business Team is eager to partner with you on your career journey! We strive to provide intentional, proactive and professional skills training and coaching that will establish a foundation for lifelong career growth and development. Through these efforts we seek to produce business leaders with recognized integrity, superior theoretical knowledge and practical skills of modern global business developed through an experiential learning environment. Student coaching appointments are the team’s favorite part of the job, and we encourage Business students to stop by regularly to take advantage of the Career Center’s resources.

Career Resources and Classes

Business students are required to take two Career Management courses (BUS 2101 and BUS 3101) as part of the Business curriculum. Students will explore career passion and calling, personal strengths and weaknesses, all while focusing on the industry, company, and position they want to attain.

Priority is placed on securing a meaningful internship experience and positioning each student for the best possible employment opportunity. The courses assist in refining leadership, communication, and employable attributes and skills. Topics covered include the following:

  • Developing a Personal Brand
  • Job interview skills training
