The Ape in the Trees


What did eastern Africa look like millions of years ago when our ancestors were evolving? I will talk about how we use plant and animal fossils and information from rocks to reconstruct the climate and landscape of eastern Africa 20 million year ago to help us better understand the evolution of apes and humans.
