DescriptionJoin us for a hands-on presentation on the importance of the buffalo and horse to the Comanche and Southern Plains tribes. This event will be offered in the Texas Lifeways exhibit next to the tipi created by Larry Belitz. Learn about tipi etiquette, examples of various buffalo part uses, and pre-1870 Native American life.
The presentation will be offered:
Thursday, February 5 at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm
Friday, February 6 at 11:00 am
