10083. Intermediate Introduction to the Canvas Learning Management System

DescriptionAudience: Faculty/Staff, Teachers of Record

This class is intended for users who are comfortable in the digital environment, use Blackboard regularly, and prefer a brisker pace of instruction. Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to:



Navigate and log in to Canvas

Upload a file to Canvas

Know what modules are and where to find them

Add content to a module

Create a few types of assignments

Create a column in Grades

Create a page

Embed media into a page

Organize modules



NOTE: Please bring a flash drive containing some documents to upload into Canvas (or, alternatively, users may retrieve documents via a network file storage system such as Box or through email).



Users must have access to a course or request a demo course in Canvas to participate in this seminar.
