Dr. Arthur Benjamin, Professor of Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College, will be giving two lectures in the seventh annual Baylor Undergraduate Lecture Series in Mathematics on Tuesday, October 21. Dr. Benjamin is a much heralded and popular speaker in the country and is well known for his clear and, often, humorous lectures in mathematics.
Dr. Benjamin's first lecture, entitled "Combinatorial Trigonometry (and a method to DIE for)", will be given on October 21 at 4 pm in BSB D109. His second lecture - his public lecture - is "Mathemagics" will be given at 7 pm on October 21 in BSB B110. We will have a reception for Dr. Benjamin from 5:00 - 6:00 pm in the atrium area (near the elevators) on the second floor of the BSB.
