DescriptionMarilynne Robinson, the author of best-selling novels that include Gilead, Housekeeping and Home, will give a reading from her works on Sept, 11, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Alexander Hall Reading Room. The reading is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Baylor University Department of English. Later the same day, at 7 p.m. in Bennett Auditorium, Robinson will deliver the 2014 Roy B. Albaugh Lecture on the topic, "Reconceiving Realism: The Case for a Deeper Attention." The Albaugh Lecture is also free and open to the public.
