DescriptionDr. Helen Horowitz, The Sydenham Clark Parsons Professor, emerita, at Smith College, will present two lectures as part of the 2014 Charles Edmondson Historical Lectures at Baylor. On Monday, Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m., Dr. Horowitz will present "Why Were They Ill? Thinking About the Mind and Body in 19th Century America." On Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3:30 p.m., she will present "The Yellow Wallpaper and the Case of Charlotte Perkins Gilman." Both lectures will take place in Kayser Auditorium and are free and open to the public.
