Baylor Stadium is set to open in August of 2014 and will hold 45,000. The site is approximately 93 acres and will have around 2,500 on-site parking spots along with 9,000 on-campus parking sports. It will also include a Brazos Bridge that will connect to campus as well as special tailgate areas. The stadium will have six founderís suites, 39 suites and 79 Loge boxes. It will also include multiple function rooms that will be available for use year round. The stadium will be the largest project in Central Texas history. According to the Economic Impact study by The Perryman Group it will create around 6,000 new jobs in the first year. The stadium is also expected to be a catalyst and synergetic component to other proposed projects along the Brazos River.
Brian Nicholson, Associate Vice President for Facility Planning and Construction, will share the building process of Baylor Stadium and what we will experience on game day beginning 2014!
