Description | Facilitators - Dr. DeAnna Toten Beard (Theatre Arts) and Dr. Helen Harris (School of Social Work) Audience - Faculty This FIG will meet monthly to discuss readings on a variety of topics pertaining to women in academia. Tentative topics include: socializing the next generation of graduate students; perspectives on teaching and gender; professional development and advancement; and dual-identity: balancing the personal and the professional. Facilitators DeAnna Toten Beard (Theatre Arts) and Helen Harris (School of Social Work) invite faculty across disciplines, schools, and career stages to this forum for learning and dialogue.
