DescriptionPrimary sources bring a level of “lived reality” to your understanding of a culture, a time, an event. From news and media coverage, to autobiographies, to diaries and interviews, get information on your topic from first hand sources. This session will review the nature of primary sources, point out Baylor’s collection of primary sources for American History & Studies, and provide you with tips for locating primary sources in other libraries, archives, and museums. Faculty, graduate students, and upper-division undergraduate students will benefit from knowing about these collections at Baylor and elsewhere.
