DescriptionPaul Klotman, M.D., a nephrologist and leading expert on how HIV affects kidney function, was named president and chief executive officer of Baylor College of Medicine June 21, 2010.  Klotman, who took over the post Sept. 1, 2010 as the medical college’s fifth president. Dr. Klotman served as chair of medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City before coming to Houston's Baylor College of Medicine.  Dr. Klotman will be the leader of the future for the  Baylor College of Medicine and its impact on Houston and the Texas Medical Center.
