| Description | Mary Louise "Mel" Bringle is Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Brevard College in Brevard, North Carolina, where she also serves as Chair of the Humanities Division. She has won a number of international hymn-writing competitions and been featured as an "emerging text writer" by The Hymn Society in the US and Canada. The Northcutt Lecture Series is designed to bring nationally and internationally known scholars in church music to Baylor University. This event is free of charge and open to the public. |
