Time9:00 am - 5:00 pm
LocationWaco Mammoth National Monument 6220 Steinbeck Bend Waco, TX 76708
DescriptionHeld on the second Saturday of every month. On Junior Ranger Days, there are additional special activities for kids, such as story time, guided hikes, and the chance to earn hard-to-find Junior Ranger badges, like the National Park Service Centennial badge. Junior Rangers help to preserve National Parks; they learn about Waco Mammoth National Monument, have fun, and are our representatives to their friends, families, and schoolmates back home. Junior Rangers spread their new knowledge about Parks and continue to use good environmental practices. These free programs are available to all kids, not just scouts.
