DescriptionEver wonder what would happen if a student became injured or ill during your class or presentation? Would you know how to respond if someone became unconscious or was having difficulty breathing? What are your responsibilities?

Please join us for this hands-on training, brought to you by the LHSON Sim Center. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to recognize and respond to medical emergencies in the classroom and beyond. Topics to be covered include:

• Fainting / Loss of Consciousness

• Seizure Activity

• Shortness of Breath / Difficulty Breathing

• Bleeding

• Fall / Potential Head Injury

• Blood Sugar Issues – too high or too low
