Global Surgery Hackathon

Saturday, April 13, 2019

About the event:
The Global Surgery Hackathon is an event designed for students interested in global health and global surgery. The event will have keynote speakers with expertise in global surgery. After the keynote speakers, students will be separated into groups to tackle a mock global health problem. Then they present their problem to a panel of judges similar to 'Shark Tank' on TV. The event is sponsored by the Baylor University Global Surgical Student Association (GSSA). The GSSA is part of a national association of students interested in global surgery. Other GSSA chapters from around Texas will also join the event.
