DateNovember 2, 2018
Time3:30 - 5:00 pm
LocationDraper 253
1400 S 7th St
Waco, TX 76706

You are invited to a casual come-and-go Homecoming reception hosted by the Political Science Department. Stop by Draper 253 between 3:30 and 5:00pm on Friday, November 2 to reconnect with International Studies students, faculty, and alumni.

The 2018 International Studies Newsletters tell stories of our students. Just like you and your friends, today’s International Studies majors are creative, resilient, and adventurous. Read about Hannah’s internship where she co-led the Talking Movies Club with the U.S. Embassy in Libya. She helped Libyan students practice their English language skills and learn about American culture by explaining the jokes in You’ve Got Mail and other American movies. Grant and Youshay’s describe their trip to West Point to talk about foreign policy at a civilian-military foreign affairs conference. Ana recounts her experience with learning the Arabic language while studying International Relations at St. Andrews in Scotland. You can find all of these stories and more in the Newsletter Archive: https://baylor.app.box.com/v/NewsletterArchive
