SET - Introducing the Active Learning Lab (Moody 104)
|Date||September 13, 2018|
|Time||2:30 - 3:30 pm|
|Location||Moody Library 104 (Active Learning Lab)|
A flexible space with robust technology can help instructors experiment, innovate, and focus on the most effective pedagogical techniques. This summer, renovations were completed on an innovative learning space at the Central Libraries: The Active Learning Lab. Located behind the main circulation desk on the first floor of Moody Memorial Library (Moody 104), the Active Learning Lab is a unique, flexible, and technologically advanced learning space that is open to all Baylor instructors. In this SET, participants will learn about the technical capabilities of the Active Learning Lab, discover the benefits of active learning, receive resources for some of the most common active learning techniques, and observe an active learning demonstration that thoughtfully uses the Active Learning Lab. Finally, a library spokesperson will answer questions and explain how instructors can reserve the room and get further tutorials on its use.
